Where have I been?

Well, ok, so it's been a while. Like 2 months! But I have been so dang busy, who has time to update the blog? Not me, that's who!! I did make it to Chicago, even to the Cubs game. They won and I hope to have pics up tomorrow. I went to Colorado Springs to see Jim and LaShawn, then drove up to Denver (again for work). Took a weekend for myself at Red Rock Station. And my sister and I took her kids to the beach last weekend. I have also found out that my help at work had a family emergency and went to AZ. Can you say extra hours? This is where being paid hourly would really come in handy. I don't think I'm cut out for these 11 hour days. Now it is time to rest, catch up on some sleep, watch a few movies, Cubs game and just be lazy. I can't wait. Looking forward to maybe taking some time off for the 4th, but with not having any help at work, we'll have to wait and see.

Orlando

Ok so it's been a month since I went to Orlando and I still don't have the pics up yet. I only took a couple anyways, but will really make an effort to get it done. Also, found out I will be going to Chicago in April for work. I imagine everyone can guess what that means...that's right Cubbies, here I come! They have 2 night games when I'm scheduled to be there so cross your fingers that I'll have Wrigley Field Pics next month. Been a long day so off to bed, and again I will gert the pics up from Orlando, I promise!

You got WHAT???

I know, all the ladies always want flowers for Valentines. For the past several years I've always had a "boyfriend" ( not that they ever bring you flowers anyway!) on this stupid stupid day! And wouldn't ya know, I finally know for sure this year, because I don't have a boyfriend, I'm not going to have to go through the ordeal of all the guys in the office giving me a hard time when you get called to the front desk and you have to walk through the office carrying the bouquet of flowers. Well, I had already left the office and our General Manager calls and says that there is a flower delivery for me at the front desk. It's 5 o'clock on a Friday night, you tell me, would you be at work? Uh, NO! Anyway, yeah, I have "friend" we'll say for now that is so thoughtful, and yes he sent me flowers. What a great guy, huh? He took the time to find some that had purple in the mix, it's my favorite color. I made him chocolate chip cookies. And to top it off, we're are going to Orlando tomorrow for a couple of days. He has a convention, for me it's play time. WHO CARES??? I don't have to go to work!!! So, here's to Mr. Cookies, and he knows who he is, I love the flowers. They are bee-yu-tee-ful!!!

A Little Trouble

It's only taken me what? 3 weeks? But here finally are a few pics of my new niece. After 3 boys, we're very happy to have another girl in the family.

Yeah that's right, I'm working! Everyone keeps talking about how bad the economy is and how bad things are, but I keep putting in more and more hours. So here I sit on a beautiful Saturday morning. Ok, so I'm not working real hard at the moment, but even I deserve a break. Kim asked for more pics of me...so these are for you KIM! And don't laugh at the "DO", I have left over hair from going out last night. After I leave the office I'm headed to my dad's to see the new baby so I hope to have pics of Kayla Jo, by tomorrow. The bottom pic is my dad, me and my gramps after funeral for my Uncle Gene.

Doesn't everyone just love it when a new year starts and all you seem to do is RUN, RUN, RUN???!!! Between putting in extra hours at work, going to the gym then coming to work some more it's a wonder I've even gotten any sleep. Jen , Mike and I went dancing this past Friday. I really don't like to make "Resolutions", but I did tell myself I was going to try to get out more. So, we ended up going to a new country bar. And ok I danced ALOT (YEAH) Jen did a couple line dances and Mike watched. But I think we all had a good time. And isn't that the point? Well, I don't have any new pics but here are a few more of the dogs. And let's face it...they are way cuter than I am!
